Infield course in Norway

The international students have had their infield course in Mandal. Simon blogs about it:

it was good to be in infield and meet other international students,we had agood time together,we also had teachings since we came for infield.it was good , we had aparty the last day ,it was intresting .there was alot of games to play,songs, and alot of ice cream with burning candles around .it was beautiful.so tomorro we are leaving for our working places and meet again in 20th of april.nice time all........

Winter trees

There are many differences between Norway and Uganda. Simon tells about what happens to trees in Norway in the winter:

During winter season like now trees have to shade off their leaves,what is fun is that the branches of the trees do not fall down but only the leaves fall,its fun to watch this happen.when you up country of norway the trees have been covered by snow .in kristiansand the roads are covered by snow but they keep clearing it way by amachine, so its not mainly in the main road,they also pour salt on roads to keep away snow.

Training with Start

Simon from Mbale, Uganda has spent some time training with Start football club. He shares his experiences on his blog:

hei, i had one week training with start club,and it was so fun to train with them.i trained with the second team not the first one.the one i played with were the best in the league in last season.during the training i was able to learn new skills and they learnt too skills from me.they train from different fields not only in one place.the fast day we trained from indoor aplace called sørlandshallen. this was in abig hole build in form of astudium,its covered allover the roof,inside they have bigg lights which warm inside so that when you train its not cold .

the second day we trained from outside not inside,and it was near the forest aplace called sukkenvann.this was very cold so much,on wednesday whic is onsdag,were met to play match but the opposite did not come.so we ahd to train,thursday we trained from adifferent ground gaain called oxgen sentre in kristiansand.but that day it was funto me in that i used awrong bus which took me up to asmall town called grimestart,so i deciced to ring them that i got lost with the bus,then on the next day friday we had our last training at the first groung,then i was able to finish to tarining.most of the training they do is alot of ballwork and less runing.

First snow

There is something about the first snow. Sylivia and Simon from Uganda share their opinions about their first snow in Norway. First Sylivia:

The first snow in Norway this year made me think about home the time it snowed. But after some time i found it interesting because it was funny walking sliding and in motion. Snow is good because it brings the beauty and those who are sportic start trying out their talents. I love snow though cold but i love snow.

it was this last week of october when i snow falling down it was fun. it was difficult to walk along the road,it was slippery, i almost fell down but i had winter shoes which were good.but the whole day was so cold,most people were telling me that it was too earlly to have snow fall.but today 31 of octorba,snow dissappeared and we have sunshine,you know its sweet to be under the sun,most people spend their time in their rooms and its difficult to talk to people anyhow,where i stay i can finish two weeks without seeing peoples faces,when i ask them where they be they tell that they spend their time reading books.so i find abig problem making friends here apart from when i meet hald students at the place of work.but its also cold here were i stay am just near the sea,we have agim were if i want to train my muscles i can go there,and also swimming pool.its fun.
